Introduction
Child grants are available to eligible households with children who are under the age of 18.
Section:
The child grant is a monthly stipend paid to the mother or caregiver of a child. It’s meant to assist with the costs of raising children until they turn 18 years old. The child grant is paid based on the number of children a woman has and their ages, which means that if you have two kids age 2 and 6, your child grant will be higher than someone who only has one kid age 10. Since around 2010, all children in a family who meet all requirements for an award get N$250 each month.
The eligibility requirements include:
- You must be over 18 years old
- Your child must be under 18 years old
