Journalist salaries in Namibia range from 9,950 NAD per month (minimum salary) to 30,000 NAD per month (maximum). The income is mainly based on staff wages, commissions paid by station owners and production expenses such as equipment rental, advertising agents, etc.

However, the amount may also be reduced during certain days of the week or if a reporter falls sick.
