Fuel prices have been increased in Namibia as of January 15th 2019. The fuel pump prices in Walvis Bay will become N$ 13.55 per litre for Petrol and N$ 13.58 per litre for Diesel. The prices across the rest of the country will also be adjusted accordingly.

The current price of Petrol in Walvis Bay is N$ 12,73 per litre which means you’ll pay about 2 5 cents more next month if you’re filling up your tank at one of the city’s many service stations

This increase has been approved by the Namibia Competition Commission (NCC) and comes into effect on 1 June 2019.

The increase follows the latest international fuel price trends, on the back of a marginal improvement in the Rand/US$ exchange rate and a reduction in the global oil price amidst a production surplus caused by a decline in oil demand from China.
