Zanzibar University ZU Online Application 2023-2024

The academic year begins in October and ends in September of the following year. During the registration, documents are thoroughly checked. Prospective students are therefore required to bring with them official original transcripts, certificates and other relevant documents as declared on the application forms. Legal action shall be taken against any applicant who presents forged documents.
No change of names by students shall be allowed during the registration or the course of study; students shall only be allowed to use names appearing on their Ordinary Level Certificate.
A non-refundable application fee of TZS 25,000/- for Tanzanian students and US$ 20 for non-Tanzanian students will be paid for undergraduate applicants. For postgraduate, application fees will be TZS 50,000/- and US$ 20 for Tanzanians and non-Tanzanians respectively.
Non-degree programme applicants shall pay a non-refundable application fee of TZS 25,000/-.

Zanzibar University ZU Application Requirements
(to be attached to the application):
1. Applicant must come from an academic institution
2. Recommendation letter from their home academic institution

Zanzibar University ZU Registration
All international students must report to DICA on arrival to go through general registration formalities. Then, students will be directed to their respective Colleges/Schools/Institutes.
Before registration, all fresh International Students are required to attend the Orientation in order to learn more about their academic programmes and other registration procedures.
The University will only register students who have either paid all their fees, be it for a semester or per year.
Zanzibar University ZU Short-Term and Occasional Student Application

Zanzibar University ZU is currently inviting applications for its postgraduate programmes for the 2023-2024 academic year. Applicants must register for an account in the admission system and make payment for the application fee. The application form for the 2023-2024 academic year is open to all interested applicants, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or national origin. All applicants must provide documentation of their qualifications and the application fee must be paid online.
Zanzibar University ZU Visiting Students
International students who stay at Zanzibar University ZU for more than one week and less than one semester are categorized as Visiting Students.
Visiting students must identify themselves with an academic unit (Colleges, Schools and Institutes), at Zanzibar University ZU and registered for either academic or/and research purposes.
Applications for enrolment as visiting students should be submitted to respective academic units.
