Apple announced the iPhone X at its annual September event, along with two other new phones, called iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Apple’s phone will be available in stores on November 3 in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan and the UK.

At launch (and for a few months after), there will be only a single model of iPhone X – 64GB for $999 (around N$13 000). While this is not cheap for an average customer who wouldn’t want to spend more than $200 on their smartphone. However, if you’re willing to pay over N$10000 for an iPhone X then you might as well get yourself one now!

iPhone X specs and features

The iPhone X is a beautiful device that’s packed with innovative technology. The phone’s screen is 5.8 inches, and it comes in Silver or Space Gray and has a glass front and back. The device also features Face ID, which can be used to unlock your iPhone X without entering a passcode or using Touch ID.

There are two new cameras on the back of the phone: one 12 MP wide-angle camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), along with a second telephoto lens at ƒ/2.4 aperture and OIS as well—both cameras capture stunning Portrait Lighting effects like studio lighting, stage lighting and natural light portrait effects as well as advanced bokeh effects through manual control via slider within Portrait Mode in Photos app on iOS 11+.

There’s also 4K video recording at 24 FPS or 30 FPS depending on region; 1080p slow motion video recording at 120 FPS or 240 FPS depending on region; 720p HD video recording at 240 FPS or 480 fps depending on region; time-lapse videos up to 4K resolution

The company says the 64GB version will cost $999, which converts to around N$13, 000. The 256GB version will cost $1,149 while the 512GB version will cost $1,349.
