It may take up to three months to process your application. If your grant is approved, you will be paid from the day you applied
Who gets disability grant?
Submit a medical / assessment report confirming permanent, severe disability. Provide a medical assessment that is not older than 3 months at date of application. Meet the requirements of the means test (including spouse). Not be maintained or cared for in a State Institution.
How much is the Disability Grant in Namibia?
The benefits are administered by the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. The disability grant amounts to N$10710.00 per month from April 2013, up from N$9817.50 per month. Individuals registered for the old age pension and the disability grant are automatically registered for the funeral benefit grant.
