Renault Kwid specs and features
The Renault Kwid has been a popular choice for many first-time buyers. The car has won multiple awards, including the prestigious CAR Middle East Car of the Year award in 2016. It has also made it to our list, but we’ll get to that later on.
The Kwid comes in two variants: 0.8 Dynamique and 1.0 Dynamique AMT (automatic). Both are offered with a 5-speed manual transmission or 4-speed AMT gearbox that can be operated by either steering wheel buttons or one lever inside the cabin.

The 0.8 variant starts at about N$70 000 and comes with 15″ steel wheels shod with 205/55 R15 tubeless radial tyres on steel rims; rear drum brakes; three airbags; ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System); immobiliser; electric windows; power steering system; remote central locking; four speakers and an audio system which comprises an FM radio with an RDS tuner, a CD/MP3 player, Auxiliary input socket and USB port for playing music from any device connected via Bluetooth connectivity and hands-free calling capability through its integrated microphone at the base of its dashboard where your phone rests when connected via Bluetooth technology
The 1.0 variant starts at approximately N$80 000 while the range-topping Intens version costs around N$85 000 before interest rates are calculated into your monthly payments.
