The standard police pay scale is determined by rank, so a constable earns N$7 000 per month.

A constable is the lowest rank in the police force, and it brings with it a salary of N$7 000 per month. This is not as much as a chief inspector’s salary, which is N$10 000 per month.

However, once you make Inspector your monthly salary increases to N$18 000 and that of a Chief Inspector is N$28 000.

The salary of a constable is N$7000 per month. A Constable can also expect to earn an additional N$1000 per month in allowances. The pay scale goes up as you move from one rank to another with the most senior ranking police officer earning around N$28 000 each month or even more depending on experience and tenure within the service.

For example, once you make Inspector your monthly salary increases to N$18 000 and that of a Chief Inspector is N$28 000.

Do not take the net salary of a constable as your net salary if you make Inspector – it won’t be that much.
